Sculptures Angola is an initiative based on data collected through the efforts of the Angola Hometown Collaboration Initiative (HCI), the work of the Mayor's Arts Council and the City of Angola's Downtown Services under the office of the Mayor.
The initiative is a catalyst for all arts and artists to broaden, support and encourage a thriving and inclusive arts culture in Angola and its surrounding areas.
Community Crosswalks
Each year, the Mayor's Arts Council issues a Call for Artists, inviting local and regional artists to submit original crosswalk mural designs. The Council reviews all submissions and selects the final artists and designs based on creativity, visibility, and their ability to enhance both safety and the community's character.
When the project is accepting applications, please fill out the "Call for Artists" form. (see "Related Pages / Documents & Forms")
